Hi, I'm Elise.
I understand the vulnerability it takes to trust a photographer to capture your life's special moments. I'd love to e-mail, text, call, or meet for a coffee to put you at ease and talk about your wildest hopes and dreams for your session- but until then, here's a little about me:
My name is Elise Wojtowicz- I started going by "Wojo" during my years as a middle school Art teacher. I hold 2 BFAs from VCUarts in Richmond, where I resided for 5 years before returning to my hometown to teach. The call of the ocean was just too strong! My love of photography began in 2008 with a pre-teen portfolio consisting exclusively of flip-phone photos of my cat, my family, and my friends.
Photography has taken me to amazing places since then, such as the public school classroom. While I love teaching, creating is my calling. My background in Fine Arts allows me to bring a refined creative sensibility to every shoot. I view each session as an opportunity to create art; your passion is my inspiration. It's important to me to photograph you and your loved ones with beauty, authenticity, and sensitivity- your magic moment deserves nothing less!

◦ I am the world's most mediocre piano player.
◦ I'm super interested in anything supernatural or unexplainable. Please tell me your ghost stories (aliens get you bonus points).
◦ I adore collections of all kinds. I myself collect sticks, seaglass, bones, shells, metal bits, and any other appealing things lying on the ground.
